Training focuses and goals

Personal Training sessions are always created with your individual goals in mind which is why we ask each new client to complete a exercise and health questionnaire. This helps us get to know you better as well as insuring that you are fit and healthy to exercise.  Whatever your aim we can help you on your journey as long as you are prepared to commit and  put in the effort!

My specialities include:
  • Weight loss and toning
  • Muscle growth and strength  training 
  • Ante and Postnatal exercise for pregnancy
  • Training programs for seniors

What the price of your session includes:

  • Time spent creating and updating your training programs to be sure  you are always progressing, motivated and that your workouts are always safe but  challenging.
  • Travel to and from your session.  We  aim to accomodate our  clients in whatever way we  can and traveling to you can help with accountability and motivation. You have your appointment and you don't need to motivate yourself to travel to the gym, the gym comes to you.  All you have to do is be there to answer the door when we arrive!
  • Your hour session, of course. Time spent effectively working towards your goals. You time. Well, you and us time!
  • Constant communication. We  are   always available to our  clients and encourage them to share with us both their successes and failures so that we  can keep them on track at every turn of the page, wherever life may be leading them at that particular moment.
What can I  expect from my session?

  • Sessions with me will involve your chosen coach  traveling to your arrondissement and us working out together either in your own apartment or outside in a nearby park or open space. Small apartments are not an issue and neither is bad weather  so whatever suits you is A-OK  with  us!
  • Sessions also involve: a lot of hard work, smiles and fun. We  endeavour to make training  a little hour of enjoyment in your day where you get to focus solely  on yourself, your body and your health and fitness. As well as reaching your goals we   also want you to have a good time on the journey: banter and laughter are obligatory!
  • We will use body weight, suspension cables and light pieces of equipment  such as resistance bands and sliders to create challenging and efficient workouts that will have you working up a sweat and towards your personal goals. If you already have your own equipment   that's  great! We will incorporate them  into our sessions as well!
  • We may also chat about nutrition from time to time, keep track of your measurements, food intake and progress. We  take time with each client to answer any questions they may have regarding fitness, nutrition and stretching and make sure that all workouts are appropriate  for your personal level of fitness and incorporate  rest periods accordingly.
  • We will review your progress periodically and make continual adjustments to your program to ensure your  body is always benefiting from your workouts.

Things we don't do:
​
  • Ask you to go on diets or support a particular style of diet. My personal  view on nutrition is all your body needs is regular, balanced meals of whole foods. Simple. 
  • Encourage excessive time on the scales or use of food diary apps. If they help you keep on track, great. If they make you feel stressed or under too much pressure, they're out. Life is already complicated enough!
  • Push you further than your limits. We, of course, endeavour to get the best from you with every session but we   also listen to people's needs and know that no two days are the same. Some days  you'll be exhausted and we'll take it down a notch. Something is ALWAYS better than nothing.  Other days you'll feel full of fire and we'll crank it up!
  • Try to sell you products or more services that you don't want or need. We   only take on a small number of clients at one time to ensure that we  can give the best service to each and every person. I (Caroline)  also hate selling things.​
